Dr. Julia Willock was born and raised in a small town in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. Her love for animals began before she can remember and in her early years she could be found doing check ups on her plushies. After graduating from high school, she moved to Edmonton where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health majoring in Companion and Performance animals at the University of Alberta before being accepted into vet school at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. 

While studying, Dr. Willock fell in love with travelling to different countries, but would return to her home town during the summers to spend time visiting her family and helping to care for the cows, chickens, Loca the llama, and Bentley the golden retriever on the family farm.

She is looking forward to the beautiful weather and beaches in California and is excited to be joining Murrieta Oaks to live out her dream of being a veterinarian. 

Her interests include small animal surgery and emergency medicine. Outside of the hospital she enjoys playing the piano, baking, hiking, and spending time on the water.
